Drs. Ed and Debbie Pinson are graduates of the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Ed and Debbie are committed to providing excellent veterinary care in a compassionate environment. North Oconee Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary facility offering preventative care, medicine, surgery, dentistry, laboratory, digital radiography, boarding, grooming, health care products and diets. The facility is clean and comfortable for both pet and owner. The medical philosophy combines a common sense and technologically advanced approach. The veterinarians are thorough and will discuss all services and recommendations with the owner.
NOAH has a friendly staff that will build a bond with you and your pet. North Oconee Animal Hospital is a dream realized. Debbie has enjoyed collecting various Noah’s Ark figures through the years and together they have always wanted a Noah’s Ark themed animal hospital. While still considering a major relocation from Lincolnton/Thomson, Georgia, Ed realized that if the move brought them to the northern half of Oconee County the animal hospital initials would spell NOAH. The architecture, colors and decorations were all chosen to fit within the Noah’s Ark theme.
North Oconee Animal Hospital is a system-wide Partner in Education with Oconee County School System and the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce. In addition to raising and contributing private funds for school projects and improvements, Drs. Ed and Debbie frequently volunteer for classroom presentations, support work study programs and judge science fair projects. Ed and Debbie are active members of Mars Hill Baptist Church. Their house is full of activity. They have three children: Andrew, Lauren and Emiliann. Andrew is in law school and Lauren graduated from UGA with degrees in International affairs and a Master in Public Administration. She is conducting research for the University of Maryland and the Department of Homeland Security. Emili is now in elementary school at Prince Avenue Christian School.
A veterinarian’s house would not be complete without pets. The family has Munson, a pet therapy certified golden retriever; Pooh Bear, a poodle/shih tzu mix; Periwinkle, a large “dog-like” cat; and Jackson, the new poodle on the block. Ed and Debbie look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)!
