Oconee County businesses may be suffering as a result of the economic recession that we are going through right now, but you’ve got to give the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce and the Oconee County Economic Development Department credit for taking positive control over the situation. Through the organization of the goLocal initiative, they’ve managed to turn what might otherwise have been a devastating economic free fall into a proactive initiative to revitalize and breathe new life into the local economy.

While OconeeCountyOnline is somewhat different than the goLocal program, our goal is the same, to stimulate the local economy. While the goLocal program encourages local spending, OconeeCountyOnline provides an avenue for local businesses to reach the local community in a new and innovative way.

We encourage you to logon to your members area of the site and “Add Promotion;“ add some of your coupons or specials that will attract customers to your storefront. We will take care of getting visitors to our site, but without your specials standing out, you will be missing out.
